The IEEE Power Electronics Society of St Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter organized a technical webinar Cognithon on 20 March 2022, on the topic “Introduction to AC Drives”.
Abina S is a third year student from St.Joseph’s College of Engineering who is pasionate to learn new language like java, python, web development etc.She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Chennai.She is Currently serving as the Chair person of IEEE St.Joseph’s College of Engineering’s Student Branch Chapter, Robotics and Automation Society. She started volunteered and organized IEEE event Robusta’21 and organized a three days workshop Robovanza’21.She has anticipatorily hosted in many events in SJCE-SB such as ERUDITE- Season-4 and Student Development Program, which is for school students.She excels in academic as well as in extracurricular activites. She has done workshops, internships and done many courses. She is good at Canva. She is a passionate graphic designer who is eager to learn about all aspects of design.She has also played a role for every task that helps her to develop her skills. She loves to work in a challenging environment.
Miss Christel Peeris R is highly organized student from St.Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She is an active member and volunteer of IEEE of St.Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter, Madras Section. She is a hardworking and dedicated person with maximal knowledge in Graphic designing and Content writing. She has volunteered in many events as Advertising volunteer in Erudite’21 season 2, Content volunteer in Envizaage’21, Design volunteer in Robusta’21, WonenEra’21 and currently coordinating many events. She has volunteered in an international symposium Womanera’21. She has bagged second place in the Bio-Mimicry JAM contest organized by IITM. She had build a Face recognition Application using Python with GUVI. She is an enthusiastic Graphic Designer striving to learn various design aspects. As an intermediate level user of Adobe Photoshop, she turns out to be a better designer. She is a passionate learner, enjoy working in a flexible workplace.
Rajesh S is an undergraduate student who is currently doing his bachelor’s degree at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai. He is also a member of IEEE Student Branch Chapter SJCE, Industry Application Society. He has actively volunteered in Envizzage’21 and currently working in the Womensera’21 event. He is also skilled in graphic designing, and video editing. He has Completed a PCB Designing internship in many reputed companies. He also completed the course on Cyber Security and python language. He had actively Participated in Circuit debugging events. He has a good CGPA in his academics. He is Skilled in hardware development. He has done a solar charger for mobile phones and is still willing to do more projects on the hardware side. He is good technical support to the team.

I am a sophomore in the steam of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in St.Joseph’s College of Engineering,
OMR,Chennai and currently serving as a Joint Secretory of Women in Engineering Affinity group.I completed my schooling with 82%.I have secured 9.15 cgpa.I am more passionate to computer and maths. I have a knowledge on programming languages such as python,c++. I am an Optimistic person and a knowledge seeker.I am also interested in web development and I have learnt HTML,CSS.
I also know to prepare a poster using canva.
I practice persistently in order to be good at something.I am a quick learner and earn certification in Robotic Process Automation and also interested in problem solving.

Sunitha K is an undergraduate student from St.Joseph’s College of Engineering, currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Chennai. She is a volunteer in IEEE organization from St.Joseph’s College of Engineering- Student Branch Chapter and She is a aficionado in Robotics and Automation Society of St.Joseph’s College of Engineering,Student Branch Chapter,Madras Section.She has been working in conducting many events for the societies in IEEE. She is proving her academic skills by doing workshops, internships. She has skilled in Embedded Systems and seeking for more interns.She has been awarded with the certificate for attending Online Internships on “Embedded Systems – Microcontrollers & Embedded C programming using Microchip Mid-Range Enhanced using MPLABX IDE” and “Printed Circuit Board Design” organized by EmCog Solutions.
She has participated in a international symposium. She is a passionate learner and fascinating in doing new things in her field of electricals. Her aim is to get in well-developed companies and to crack higher level of exams.
Abinaya M is a pre – final year student from St.Joseph’s College of Engineering always willing to add a suffix after her name Electrical aficionado. Currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Chennai who is idealistic and passionate towards her dream. An Electrical enthusiast and also keen on learning Artificial intelligence and Internet Of Things. She is currently a member of IEEE SJCE Student branch, Robotics and Automation Society. She started volunteering in IEEE SJCE RAS events by March 2021. She has anticipatorily hosted in many SJCE events such as Erudite’21 – Season 4, Student Development Program, webinars, online events,etc..She volunteered in Robusta’21 as a content writer and hosted along with her mates. She also volunteered in a flagship event named Robovanza as a Graphic designer and content writer. She also done internship on Embedded Systems and PCB designing. Arisudan TH is a second year student in the stream of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at St.Joseph’s College of Engineering, OMR Chennai. Also, I am Vice – chairperson of IEEE St.Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter. I have a great passion in Electrical and solving problems. In academics, I secured 8.45 cgpa and have a great passion in maths and machines. I have a great intension towards Designing and Graphic Designing.
Priyanka J is a person capable of juggling multiple tasks on a daily basis and applying a creative approach to problem solving. A skilled communicator with proven inter personal skills. Currently serving as Section Student Representative, IEEE Madras Section and she is very much used to working in a team whilst also being capable of using own initiative. As a person with personal interest in oration, she’s capable of hosting events and sufficiently organized to manage programmes in an orderly fashion. With exceptional oratory abilities, Priyanka was granted the opportunity to host Erudite Talk season 3. In the year 2020, she volunteered to host a webinar on the subject of “Internet Of Things”, which was conducted by the Department of Science. She was given the opportunity to volunteer for the event called “Envizaage’21”, which consists of a variety of technical and non-technical events hosted by IEEE members in 2020. Priyanka has a personal interest in the Internet Of Things and Digital Marketing; in order to gain experience in these fields, she completed an internship with Agimus Technology and completed mini-projects such as Obstacle Avoider Using Arduino, Smart Farming Using Internet Of Things, and Home Automation. Additionally, SEMrush hosted a digital marketing certification course. Priyanka is an eager and creative individual who works tirelessly to enhance her abilities in order to contribute successfully to the event’s success.
Ms. Ananya P.K is a well-organized student at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Chennai, where she is doing her Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. She is currently a member of the IEEE SJCE, Industrial and Automation Society, Madras Section. Since the year 2020, she has been an active IEEE volunteer. Working in a demanding setting is more appealing to her. She is a driven individual who is looking for a way to satiate her thirst. She was in charge of coordinating Erudite discourse. She secured second place in the IIT-Madras Biomimicry competition. She has volunteered for the “ENVIZZAGE” flagship event. She is an incredibly dedicated and caring employee. She is an excellent academic as well as an IEEE volunteer. She has volunteered an international symposium
“Womansera’21”. She also conducted many events in RAS SJCE branch. She enjoys learning new things. She pulls out the best in herself as a Canva intermediate user. She has done PCB designing internship. She has secured good CGPA. She has actively volunteered Student Webinar Series. She has developed her soft skills and is very punctual.
I am an aspiring student pursuing electrical and electronics engineering.Highly enthusiastic learner and loves to learn new things .I’m passionate about whatever work i am given.I am easy going and sociable. I am a person who strongly believe that words can change the world. I am a good public speaker and also fluent in writing. I am a good organiser and has good conversation skills.

Jesse S is a pre-final year student  Electrical Engineering student at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering. She is a committed individual with excellent content writing and oratory skills gained through her voluntary work at IEEE and other organisations. She is now the secretary of the Power Electronics Society at the Student Branch of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, as well as a content writer for the IEEE Madras Section (SCT). She has coordinated several Student Branch (Envizaage’21, Erudite S3, Womansera’21, Sayonara, and others) and Section events (MASCON, MAS-E-TECH, Know your IEEE series, Upskills, MAS SAC SB LEADD and so on ) She has attended many symposiums and earned numerous awards. During the epidemic, Jesse presented a webinar on the theme of “Personal Development,” which helped many students comprehend and begin working on their abilities. She is also enthusiastic in digital marketing and web development. Jesse, together with her team, won first place in the  Eu-Reka 2021 national level competition conducted by The IEEE Pune Section . She is an adaptable, flexible, and easy-going individual with positive attitude. Whatever goals she sets for herself, she makes it a point to fulfil them within the time frame specified. Aside from IEEE, she is a member of Care and Welfare, a social service organisation, where she volunteers her time for a worthy cause.
.Thiruvel. A. P is a pre final year student in the stream of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at St.Joseph’s College of Engineering, OMR Chennai. Also, I am Conference team lead of IEEE St.Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter. I am part of a Content team in the IEEE Madras Section under R10 region. I have a great passion in Electrical and solving problems. I had completed two to three mini projects in Solar applications and in IoT applications like solar power bank, solar torchlight and so. I had done his internships in ” Development of Automatic Hand Sanitizer”. With my team, I in process of developing a Military Based robotic car using ZigBee. With some Experience in content, I completed my second intern as a content writer. He is an Optimist as well as a Technical solver. Currently, I am doing my intern as a HR in Ashman Foundation. Also, I had some Volunteering experience in the events organized under IEEE Student Branch Chapter of St.Joseph’s College of Engineering like Erudite talk season 4, Envizaage, conocithon ,womansera’21 and some webinars like Robovenza, CIS webinars and played a role in the Space workshop and Atomic workshop. I and an active IEEE volunteer and Volunteered in the ” MAS E TEC” symposium, which was organized by the Madras section. Also, I had volunteered a hackathon Conocithon -It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.In academics, I secured 9.15 cgpa and have a great passion in maths and machines. I have a great intension towards Finance and Data Science. I have a great knowledge on some programming languages like Python, Java and C programming. Also, I have some experiences in handling Raspberry Pi and Arduino and completed some projects with Arduino. I can perform better and better in future .
.Karthikkkumar C is a 2nd year student in the stream of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at St.Joseph’s College of Engineering,OMR Chennai.Also,I am joint Treasurerer of IEEE St.Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter.And I also done with canva amd presentations.I had completed one mini project using arduino and ultra sonic sensor .I had done online courses of Basic Programming of Python Language .I had organized some events for school students in the first year. In academics, I secured 8.76 cgpa and I have great passion in maths and solving problems. I have some experinces in handling arudino. I can perform better and better in future

Udhayaraga.B is in her third year of study at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, where she is majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She is a dedicated frontend web developer who is always eager to learn new things. She is currently the IEEE SJCE’s Collaboration Lead. A java enthusiast. She is a dynamic orator, as seen by her involvement in Erudite Season 4, Debates, and Womansera. She has organized a number of virtual events for our student section. She’s also an accomplished content writer. She has given two webinars on the subjects of “Arduino” and “Cyber Security”. She has actively participated in the IEEE Kerala Section’s “Cyber Suraksha” training program. She has formed herself with a variety of abilities such as graphic design, web design, and content writing, and she continues to work on improving herself every day. Thavaloshini A is a third year Student in St.Joseph’s College of Engineering,chennai.She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.She is a Co-lead of Publicity team and an active member and volunteeer of IEEE & IEEE Robotics and Automation Society of St.Joseph’s college of Engineering Student Branch Chapter , Madras Section.She has been working and helping in conducting many events like Erudite’21 Season 2 ,Robusta,Envizzage,Womansera’21, and so on. Mr.AV.Prasanthkumar is an Electrical and Electronics Engineering third-year student at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering in Chennai. He is a Publicity team lead of the IEEE St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter. He has coordinated school programmes and activities for the IEEE Flagship. He is an incredibly creative graphic designer that specialises in Canva and Wordpress. He has helped to the events by providing various posters. He did an internship in graphic design and attended a variety of workshops. He held a webinar in 2020 for first-year students on the topic “Perks of Becoming a Graphic Designer,” which the students found incredibly beneficial and inspirational. Prasanth is a promising young talent who works carefully each day to refine his abilities and produce a higher-quality product.

I am studying electrical and electronics engineering in st.joseph’s college of engineering. I am a committee member at IEEE. I am doing an internship in Exposys data labs. Ms. Maria Shirley John LM is a well-organized student in St. Joseph’s College of Engineering in Chennai, currently pursuing her second year in the department of Electricals and Electronics Engineering. Her interest field revolves around her core subject also under the technical field. She is a nascent graphic designer who has completed numerous projects in the field and is keen to acquire new design techniques. Currently, she is the Content Lead for IEEE SJCE Student Branch. She is a dedicated volunteer and organizer who has helped to organize numerous events such as ENVIZAAGE’21, ERUDITE Season-4, WOMANSERA’21, and others. She has also coordinated both the ‘GETTING SMART’ and the ‘STUDENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM’ by presenting a webinar on the topics of ‘Internet of Things’ and ‘Power Electronics’.
