The session started with the speaker’s introduction. Dr. Ronghai Qu started with the latest trend in Electrical vehicles (EV) and the existing EV’s in the market. He then explained the importance of a motor which replaces the Engine in conventional vehicles. Later he compared the existing motors used in EV’s and the Traction motor which is a new trend.

He then specified about the factors affecting the power flow and the advantages and disadvantages of the renewable energy power management. The real-time monitoring of the PV plant was explained precisely using graphs and pictures. The data analysis gave us a neat schematic of the load management by the generated plant power.
