The IEEE CSI event, “Backend Bridges,” held on 10-01-2024 conducted by St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, was a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing participants’ backend development skills using Node.js and Express.js. This dynamic event seamlessly integrated theoretical knowledge with practical experience through a guided project, led by a seasoned technical expert. Participants gained insights into server-side scripting, routing, middleware, and database integration, solidifying their understanding of backend development. Prioritizing a survey-driven approach, the event tailored content to participants’ existing frontend knowledge. Beyond code implementation, it covered deployment and server-side considerations, ensuring a holistic learning experience. “Backend Bridges” successfully empowered participants to become proficient backend developers in the evolving tech landscape, epitomizing the commitment to excellence in technical education within the IEEE CSI community. E-Certificate were awarded to all participants under the IEEE CSI banner.
