IEEE PES SJCE SB- in association with IEEE St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Student chapter conducted a webinar session “CAREER COMPASS” on 03/04/2024.the topic session was “SOFT SKILL FOR INTERVIEW PREPARATION AND LANDHING YOUR FIRST JOB” presented by Prathiba Leo TEDx Speaker, communication and soft skill coach.students from the pre-final year, and second year of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering participated. Certainly, she introduces the Career Compass program, a comprehensive soft skill training initiative for interview preparation and job acquisition. This program focuses on key areas such as effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability. Participants undergo rigorous training sessions to enhance self-awareness, personal branding, and confidence. Mock interviews and feedback sessions are integrated to refine presentation skills and improve interview performance. The program emphasizes professionalism, ethical conduct, and emotional intelligence, ensuring candidates are well-prepared for various workplace scenarios. By equipping individuals with essential soft skills and interview strategies, the Career Compass program aims to help them secure their first job and navigate their career journey successfully. Attendees engaged in a Q&A session, gaining insights into practical implementation and innovation opportunities. Overall, the webinar provided valuable insights into leveraging AI for industrial advancements. Approximately 25+ students took part in this event over meet. The participants were rewarded with E-certificate as a token of appreciation -Memento was awarded to the speaker by the end of the session.
