IEEE Computational Intelligence Society SJCE SB -AG in association with IEEE St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Student chapter conducted a TECHNICAL EVENT On March 21st, 2023, an event titled “Cybersecurity and its Significance in 5G and IoT Applications” was conducted by Samuel Tensingh, an Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney, Australia. The event saw participation from 2nd and 3rd-year students across various departments at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering. During the two-hour session from 1 to 3 pm, attendees delved into the critical role of cybersecurity in the context of emerging technologies like 5G and IoT. Discussions centered on the importance of safeguarding data and networks in an increasingly interconnected world, highlighting the need for proactive measures to address potential vulnerabilities.
