We the IEEE St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Photonics Society SJCE SB PH036(SBC60101L) hosted the event “ELEVATE – Mastering Linked In for Career Growth” on August 13, 2024, featuring Ms. Naeema Nazar, an Assistant Professor at VISAT Engineering College, IEEE Photonics Society Global Strategy Representative for India, Kerala Student Branch Chapter Advisor of WiE, Comsoc. The session, held via Google Meet, focused on “Mastering in  LinkedIn for Career Growth,”providing insights building a strong profile that clearly reflects your professional identity. Mam’s presentation emphasized in  Mastering LinkedIn is essential for boosting your professional visibility and connecting with valuable opportunities. It enhances your personal brand and positions you for career growth in a competitive job market. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and IEEE members, who engaged in an interactive Q&A session. Attendees gained valuable knowledge and were inspired to actively participate in IEEE’s professional development opportunities. The event concluded with positive feedback, highlighting its relevance and the speaker’s impactful delivery. Nearly 30 students participated in this event.

Mani Sha N is a Pre-final year student currently pursuing an Undergraduate in the domain of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai. He is an active volunteer in the Institue of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE). He is currently volunteering as Chairperson of IEEE SJCE SB மாணவர் மன்றம் in St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter. He is also volunteering as a Web Designer in IEEE Madras Section under Section Student Coordination Team 2021. He has coordinated many Student Branch events Pels Jamboree, Pelzine- A Student Magazine, Sayonara, Conocithon, etc, and Section events MAS E TECH, MASCON, Know Your IEEE series, UPSKILl, etc. He completed his internship in Embedded Systems – Microcontrollers and Peripherals at Emcog Solutions at Mogappair, Chennai. He completed three mini projects in Embedded Systems and completed a hardware project in Robotics as Obstacle Avoider. He is currently doing his intern in Devtown as a Full Stack Web Developer. He is an enthusiast and a time-oriented person.
