The “ENERGIZE QUIZ,” organized by the IEEE Power and Energy Society of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering on August 8, 2024, was an impactful online event dedicated to raising awareness about the crucial role of renewable energy in addressing climate change. Spanning from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the quiz offered participants a unique opportunity to delve into the environmental benefits of sustainable energy sources, such as solar and wind, which are essential in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and fostering a cleaner, more sustainable future. The event was meticulously designed to not only test the knowledge of participants but also to educate them on the latest innovations and best practices within the renewable energy sector. A significant highlight of the quiz was the enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines, demonstrating a widespread and growing interest in renewable energy. These students engaged deeply with the content, showcasing their commitment to understanding the complexities of sustainable energy and its pivotal role in global environmental stewardship. The event’s format encouraged critical thinking and allowed students to explore the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies, thereby broadening their perspectives and inspiring them to contribute to this vital field.

He is an active volunteer in the Institue of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE). He is currently volunteering as Chairperson of IEEE SJCE SB மாணவர் மன்றம் in St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter. He is also volunteering as a Web Designer in IEEE Madras Section under Section Student Coordination Team 2021. He has coordinated many Student Branch events Pels Jamboree, Pelzine- A Student Magazine, Sayonara, Conocithon, etc, and Section events MAS E TECH, MASCON, Know Your IEEE series, UPSKILl, etc. He completed his internship in Embedded Systems – Microcontrollers and Peripherals at Emcog Solutions at Mogappair, Chennai. He completed three mini projects in Embedded Systems and completed a hardware project in Robotics as Obstacle Avoider. He is currently doing his intern in Devtown as a Full Stack Web Developer. He is an enthusiast and a time-oriented person.
