The IEEE Power and Energy Society of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering in association with IEEE R10 PES Student Chapter Committee organized an event titled “IEEE 2024 PES HPSBCP,” providing a valuable opportunity for PES student chapters to secure funding, with a maximum grant of $1000. The event, held on January 21, 2024, was led by Mr. Rishi Kant Thakur, Chair of IEEE R10, who shared insights on seizing funding opportunities within Region 10. During the event, Mr. Thakur comprehensively discussed the funding application process, highlighting essential details to be filled out and outlining the eligibility criteria. His guidance aimed to address any uncertainties among student chapters under Region 10, fostering a better understanding of the application requirements. The session proved instrumental in equipping attendees with the necessary knowledge to pursue and successfully secure funding for their PES initiatives.
