IEEE PES SJCE SB- in association with IEEE St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Student chapter conducted a webinar session “INNOVATION TOMORROW” on 27/06/2024.the topic session was “IEEE JOURNEY” presented by Lakshan Madhushanka Lecturer, Electrical & Electronic Engineer, Certified Life Coach, IEEEian, AIESECer, Motion Graphic Designer and Photographer.from the pre-final year, and second year of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering participated. , IEEE standards have revolutionized connectivity, enabling faster data transmission and the proliferation of mobile and wireless technologies worldwide. From groundbreaking innovations in artificial intelligence and robotics to sustainable energy solutions and biomedical engineering, IEEE continues to shape the future through its global network of experts and researchers. Our report underscores IEEE’s commitment to fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and technological leadership, reflecting its impact on shaping the world’s technological landscape. IEEE continues to drive innovation globally. Through standards development, research facilitation, and knowledge exchange, IEEE shapes the future of technology, fostering collaboration and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in engineering and beyond Attendees engaged in a Q&A session, gaining insights into practical implementation and innovation opportunities. Overall, the webinar provided valuable insights into leveraging AI for industrial advancements. Approximately 25+ students took part in this event over meet. The participants were rewarded with E-certificate as a token of appreciation -Memento was awarded to the speaker by the end of the session.

He has coordinated many Student Branch events Pels Jamboree, Pelzine- A Student Magazine, Sayonara, Conocithon, etc, and Section events MAS E TECH, MASCON, Know Your IEEE series, UPSKILl, etc. He completed his internship in Embedded Systems – Microcontrollers and Peripherals at Emcog Solutions at Mogappair, Chennai. He completed three mini projects in Embedded Systems and completed a hardware project in Robotics as Obstacle Avoider. He is currently doing his intern in Devtown as a Full Stack Web Developer.
