INSEGNANTE SERIES – SESSION 4

The IEEE St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter, in collaboration with the IEEE Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology AG of SJCE SB, hosted Session 4 of INSEGNANTE, focusing on “Introduction To Electric Vehicles.” With approximately 55 participants in attendance, the event featured Ms. Gomathi S, Assistant Professor at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, providing insights into EV fundamentals, emerging technologies, and sustainability. Through interactive discussions and networking opportunities, attendees gained a deeper understanding of the future of Electric Vehicles and their role in sustainable transportation. The event also highlighted Ms. Gomathi S’s expertise in discussing major areas to be implemented in battery management systems of electric vehicles. Her insights into this critical aspect shed light on the advancements and challenges in optimizing battery performance, enhancing safety, and extending battery life in EVs. E-certificates were provided to the participants.

He has coordinated many Student Branch events Pels Jamboree, Pelzine- A Student Magazine, Sayonara, Conocithon, etc, and Section events MAS E TECH, MASCON, Know Your IEEE series, UPSKILl, etc. He completed his internship in Embedded Systems – Microcontrollers and Peripherals at Emcog Solutions at Mogappair, Chennai. He completed three mini projects in Embedded Systems and completed a hardware project in Robotics as Obstacle Avoider. He is currently doing his intern in Devtown as a Full Stack Web Developer.
