The IEEE Student Branch Chapter of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering and IEEE Power Electronics Society of SJCE SB hosted a captivating session titled “Introduction to MATLAB Simulation on Basic Power Converters” on April 18, 2024, with 35 enthusiastic participants. Assistant Professor Mr. ELANTHIRAYAN. R adeptly guided attendees through MATLAB simulation techniques applied to fundamental power converters, fostering an interactive learning environment. Participants explored cutting-edge technologies and received e-certificates, enhancing their educational journey. The session meticulously covered MATLAB’s diverse toolbox for power converter simulation, providing insights into key components and practical applications. Through interactive discussions and hands-on demonstrations, attendees gained a thorough understanding of MATLAB’s capabilities in power electronics engineering.

He has coordinated many Student Branch events Pels Jamboree, Pelzine- A Student Magazine, Sayonara, Conocithon, etc, and Section events MAS E TECH, MASCON, Know Your IEEE series, UPSKILl, etc. He completed his internship in Embedded Systems – Microcontrollers and Peripherals at Emcog Solutions at Mogappair, Chennai. He completed three mini projects in Embedded Systems and completed a hardware project in Robotics as Obstacle Avoider. He is currently doing his intern in Devtown as a Full Stack Web Developer.
