IEEE WIE SJCE SB-AG, in association with the IEEE St. Joseph’s College of Engineering student chapter, conducted a webinar session titled “MASTERING THE MIC” on 04-03-2024. The topic for the session was “HOW TO ADDRESS THE FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING?” presented by Ms. PRIYANKINI MAHANTA, Public Speaking Coach and founder of Speak Out Club. Students from the final year, pre-final year, and second year of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering participated. Ms. Mahanta discussed techniques for overcoming anxiety and captivating audiences as a public speaker. The session was highly interactive, and it is hoped that participants will apply the insights shared by the resource person in their personal and professional lives. Approximately 35 students took part in this event over Google Meet. The participants were rewarded with e-certificates as a token of appreciation, and an e-memento was awarded to the speaker at the end of the session.
