The IEEE Student Branch Chapter of St.Joseph’s College of Engineering wrapped up its Nation’s Pulse: Civic Duties of Republic India essay competition with 20 enthusiastic participants. Submissions, in English or Tamil, showcased creative reflections on India’s civic duties within a concise 1 to 3-page PDF format.Winners received merit certificates, and all participants were acknowledged with e-certificates.
Abina S is a third year student from St.Joseph’s College of Engineering who is pasionate to learn new language like java, python, web development etc.She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Chennai.She is Currently serving as the Chair person of IEEE St.Joseph’s College of Engineering’s Student Branch Chapter, Robotics and Automation Society. She started volunteered and organized IEEE event Robusta’21 and organized a three days workshop Robovanza’21.She has anticipatorily hosted in many events in SJCE-SB such as ERUDITE- Season-4 and Student Development Program, which is for school students.She excels in academic as well as in extracurricular activites. She has done workshops, internships and done many courses. She is good at Canva. She is a passionate graphic designer who is eager to learn about all aspects of design.She has also played a role for every task that helps her to develop her skills. She loves to work in a challenging environment.
Miss Christel Peeris R is highly organized student from St.Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She is an active member and volunteer of IEEE of St.Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter, Madras Section. She is a hardworking and dedicated person with maximal knowledge in Graphic designing and Content writing. She has volunteered in many events as Advertising volunteer in Erudite’21 season 2, Content volunteer in Envizaage’21, Design volunteer in Robusta’21, WonenEra’21 and currently coordinating many events. She had build a Face recognition Application using Python with GUVI. She is an enthusiastic Graphic Designer striving to learn various design aspects. Priyanka J is a person capable of juggling multiple tasks on a daily basis and applying a creative approach to problem solving. A skilled communicator with proven inter personal skills. Currently serving as Section Student Representative, IEEE Madras Section and she is very much used to working in a team whilst also being capable of using own initiative. As a person with personal interest in oration, she’s capable of hosting events and sufficiently organized to manage programmes in an orderly fashion. With exceptional oratory abilities, Priyanka was granted the opportunity to host Erudite Talk season 3. In the year 2020, she volunteered to host a webinar on the subject of “Internet Of Things”, which was conducted by the Department of Science. She was given the opportunity to volunteer for the event called “Envizaage’21”, which consists of a variety of technical and non-technical events hosted by IEEE members in 2020. Priyanka has a personal interest in the Internet Of Things and Digital Marketing; in order to gain experience in these fields, she completed an internship with Agimus Technology and completed mini-projects such as Obstacle Avoider Using Arduino, Smart Farming Using Internet Of Things, and Home Automation. Additionally, SEMrush hosted a digital marketing certification course. Priyanka is an eager and creative individual who works tirelessly to enhance her abilities in order to contribute successfully to the event’s success.
Ms. Ananya P.K is a well-organized student at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Chennai, where she is doing her Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. She is currently a member of the IEEE SJCE, Industrial and Automation Society, Madras Section. Since the year 2020, she has been an active IEEE volunteer. Working in a demanding setting is more appealing to her. She is a driven individual who is looking for a way to satiate her thirst. She was in charge of coordinating Erudite discourse. She secured second place in the IIT-Madras Biomimicry competition. She has volunteered for the “ENVIZZAGE” flagship event. She is an incredibly dedicated and caring employee. She is now the secretary of the Power Electronics Society at the Student Branch of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, as well as a content writer for the IEEE Madras Section (SCT). She has coordinated several Student Branch (Envizaage’21, Erudite S3, Womansera’21, Sayonara, and others) and Section events (MASCON, MAS-E-TECH, Know your IEEE series, Upskills, MAS SAC SB LEADD and so on ) She has attended many symposiums and earned numerous awards. During the epidemic, Jesse presented a webinar on the theme of “Personal Development,” which helped many students comprehend and begin working on their abilities. She is also enthusiastic in digital marketing and web development. Jesse, together with her team, won first place in the  Eu-Reka 2021 national level competition conducted by The IEEE Pune Section . She is an adaptable, flexible, and easy-going individual with positive attitude. Whatever goals she sets for herself, she makes it a point to fulfil them within the time frame specified. .Thiruvel. A. P is a pre final year student in the stream of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at St.Joseph’s College of Engineering, OMR Chennai. Also, I am Conference team lead of IEEE St.Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter. I am part of a Content team in the IEEE Madras Section under R10 region. I have a great passion in Electrical and solving problems. I had completed two to three mini projects in Solar applications and in IoT applications like solar power bank, solar torchlight and so. I had done his internships in ” Development of Automatic Hand Sanitizer”. With my team, I in process of developing a Military Based robotic car using ZigBee. With some Experience in content, I completed my second intern as a content writer. He is an Optimist as well as a Technical solver. Currently, I am doing my intern as a HR in Ashman Foundation. Also, I had some Volunteering experience in the events organized under IEEE Student Branch Chapter of St.Joseph’s College of Engineering like Erudite talk season 4, Envizaage, conocithon ,womansera’21 and some webinars like Robovenza, CIS webinars and played a role in the Space workshop and Atomic workshop. Mr.AV.Prasanthkumar is an Electrical and Electronics Engineering third-year student at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering in Chennai. He is a Publicity team lead of the IEEE St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter. He has coordinated school programmes and activities for the IEEE Flagship.
