IEEE SJCE SB organized an Alumni Interaction Meeting on 8/11/2024, where Mr. Kumaran, the Past Chair of IEEE SJCE SB(Batch 2021), was invited as the speaker. Currently, Mr. Kumaran is working as an Electronic Engineer at Advanced Energy Industries ,United States During the session, he shared valuable insights on the history of IEEE, its benefits, and the numerous opportunities it offers to its members. Mr. Kumaran also motivated the 2nd-year students, who are the new IEEE members, encouraging them to actively engage in IEEE activities and make the most of their membership. The event was well-received, with 80 students participating in the interactive session. The alumni interaction provided a platform for the students to learn from Mr. Kumaran’s experiences and gain inspiration for their own IEEE journey. The session successfully highlighted the significance of IEEE membership and left the students inspired and eager to contribute to the IEEE community.
