On September 20, 2024, the IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering organized a session titled “Rewire Your Minds: Unleash Your Potential with a Positive Mindset,” featuring Ms. Padma Kumaran, a renowned mindset speaker, corporate trainer, motivational speaker, author, and certified IFC coach on career growth. The event was attended by around 20 students from the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years of the EEE Department. Ms. Kumaran shared insights on the power of a positive mindset, focusing on how it can drive personal and professional growth. She emphasized techniques for overcoming self-doubt, setting clear goals, and fostering resilience in the face of challenges.
OUTCOME: The session left students motivated and equipped with practical tools to harness their potential. As an outcome, students reported increased confidence in managing academic pressures and career planning, feeling more.
