Robotics workshop was organized and conducted by the experts Mr. A. Sadeesh Kumar and Mr. V. Balasubramanian, and 20 participants were made to understand the concept of robotics. The basic principles of robotics were introduced to the trainees in the theoretical session of the course, which dealt with different types of robots such as autonomous, humanoid, and industrial types, including applications of these types of robots in manufacturing industries, medical treatment, and space. Participants were introduced to key concepts of robot design, function, and programming, with the activation of interest in robotics technology. On the second day, the participants engaged in hands-on experience in the building and programming of the robot with a focus on sensor integration and the development of basic control systems in order to gain a further understanding of the concept of robotics. The last day was used for advanced topics such as robot navigation systems, machine learning applications in robotics, and future trends by way of interactive discussions with the experts. Altogether, the workshop was an enriching experience where the participants received hands-on skills along with thorough theoretical knowledge, well-practiced to delve into the changing world of robotics rapidly.Â
