IEEE IAS SJCE SB in association with IEEE St. Joseph’s College of Engineering student chapter conducted a webinar session “SHINING BRIGHT” on 15-03-2024. The topic for the session was “RF Sensors for Biomedical Applications” presented by Ms. APALA BANERJEE,IEEE MTT-S Graduate Fellow, Women in Microwaves(WiM) Region 10, PhD Research Scholar IIT Kanpur. Students from the Final year, pre-final year, and Second year of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering participated. Certainly, In the captivating world of biomedicine, RF sensors emerge as silent guardians, delicately monitoring vital signs, shaping the future of personalized healthcare and disease management. Approximately 40+ students took part in this event over Google meet. The participants were rewarded with E-certificates. Appreciation Certificate and E- Memento was award to the speaker by the end of the session.

He has coordinated many Student Branch events Pels Jamboree, Pelzine- A Student Magazine, Sayonara, Conocithon, etc, and Section events MAS E TECH, MASCON, Know Your IEEE series, UPSKILl, etc. He completed his internship in Embedded Systems – Microcontrollers and Peripherals at Emcog Solutions at Mogappair, Chennai. He completed three mini projects in Embedded Systems and completed a hardware project in Robotics as Obstacle Avoider. He is currently doing his intern in Devtown as a Full Stack Web Developer.
