IEEE IAS SJCE SB in association with IEEE St. Joseph’s College of Engineering student chapter conducted a webinar session “SHINING BRIGHT” on 21-03-2024. The topic for the session was “Microwave subsurface Imaging using metamaterial inspired planar sensors” presented by Ms.Ankita Kumari,Doctoral Candidate at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur , Chair, IEEE MTT-S SBC IIT Kanpur participated. Certainly, In the captivating world of Artificial intelligence, these sensors can enhance imaging resolution and depth penetration compared to traditional methods. This technology finds applications in various fields like geophysical exploration, non-destructive testing, and medical imaging. Approximately 40+ students took part in this event over Google meet. The participants were rewarded with E-certificates. Appreciation Certificate and E- Memento was award to the speaker by the end of the session.

He has coordinated many Student Branch events Pels Jamboree, Pelzine- A Student Magazine, Sayonara, Conocithon, etc, and Section events MAS E TECH, MASCON, Know Your IEEE series, UPSKILl, etc. He completed his internship in Embedded Systems – Microcontrollers and Peripherals at Emcog Solutions at Mogappair, Chennai. He completed three mini projects in Embedded Systems and completed a hardware project in Robotics as Obstacle Avoider. He is currently doing his intern in Devtown as a Full Stack Web Developer.
