THE STATE OF ART OF HUMAN-DRONE INTERACTION

 

“We, IEEE Spectrum of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, conducted a Spectrum session. The speaker,  Ms. L. Sanchana spoke on “. The state of art of Human-Drone Interaction” on 19th March , 2024. The speaker enlightened us with the idea that “.Human-drone interaction (HDI) is a burgeoning field at the intersection of human-computer interaction (HCI) and robotics, revolutionizing various sectors including transportation, entertainment, and emergency response. As drones become increasingly prevalent in our daily lives, understanding how humans and drones can effectively collaborate and communicate is essential for maximizing their potential while ensuring safety and usability. The session was held between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Our target audience were 2nd , 3rd and final years . A total of 27 participants participated and had an amazing experience during the meet, thoroughly enjoying the entire session. The speaker was honored with an E-memento.

He has coordinated many Student Branch events Pels Jamboree, Pelzine- A Student Magazine, Sayonara, Conocithon, etc, and Section events MAS E TECH, MASCON, Know Your IEEE series, UPSKILl, etc. He completed his internship in Embedded Systems – Microcontrollers and Peripherals at Emcog Solutions at Mogappair, Chennai. He completed three mini projects in Embedded Systems and completed a hardware project in Robotics as Obstacle Avoider. He is currently doing his intern in Devtown as a Full Stack Web Developer.
