VOLTVISTA – A DISTINGUISED LECTURE

IEEE Power Electronics Society Student Branch Chapter SJCE SB (SBC60101C) in association with IEEE Power Electronics Society Madhya Pradesh Section PEL 35(CH11004), IE015 and  IEEE PELS Power Electronics Society Madras Section PEL 35(CH10352) organized a webinar session titled “VOLTVISTA” on February 19, 2024. The topic for the session was “Design of AC-DC Hybrid Microgrid Using Renewable Energy,” presented by Ms. Shravani Mathur. Students and staff from the final year, pre-final year, and second year of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and other college students and staff, participated. The session aimed to explore emerging trends, innovations, and challenges in the field of Renewable Systems, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and networking among professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts. Approximately 40+ participants joined this event on Gmeet. The participants were rewarded with e-certificates as a token of appreciation. A memento was presented to the speaker at the conclusion of the session.

He is currently volunteering as Chairperson of IEEE SJCE SB மாணவர் மன்றம் in St. Joseph’s College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter. He is also volunteering as a Web Designer in IEEE Madras Section under Section Student Coordination Team 2021. He has coordinated many Student Branch events Pels Jamboree, Pelzine- A Student Magazine, Sayonara, Conocithon, etc, and Section events MAS E TECH, MASCON, Know Your IEEE series, UPSKILl, etc. He completed his internship in Embedded Systems – Microcontrollers and Peripherals at Emcog Solutions at Mogappair, Chennai. He completed three mini projects in Embedded Systems and completed a hardware project in Robotics as Obstacle Avoider. He is currently doing his intern in Devtown as a Full Stack Web Developer.
