EVENTZEN-REPORT

The IEEE Power and Energy Society of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering conducted a webinar event, “Eventzen,” on 25-12-2023, exclusively for second and pre-final year students from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE). Approximately twenty-five students participated in the event, led by Farid Kha

 

n, former chair and founder of IEEE Smart Village USA, UK, asia operations, on the topic “EDUCATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP.”During the event, the speaker explained new opportunities in AI and the burgeoning fields, motivating students to become entrepreneurs through his insights. The session was highly interactive, and we hope that all doubts were clearly explained. As a token of appreciation, we provided E-certificates to all the participants.

He has coordinated many Student Branch events Pels Jamboree, Pelzine- A Student Magazine, Sayonara, Conocithon, etc, and Section events MAS E TECH, MASCON, Know Your IEEE series, UPSKILl, etc. He completed his internship in Embedded Systems – Microcontrollers and Peripherals at Emcog Solutions at Mogappair, Chennai. He completed three mini projects in Embedded Systems and completed a hardware project in Robotics as Obstacle Avoider. He is currently doing his intern in Devtown as a Full Stack Web Developer.
