The IEEE Student Branch chapter of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering proudly hosted the 24-hour international-level online programming competition, IEEE Xtreme 17.0, with resounding success. The event garnered over 140 registrations from participants across the globe, underlining its global recognition and appeal.
One of the distinguishing features of this event was its innovative and inclusive approach. To ensure that every registered participant could actively participate, the competition was held in both offline and online modes. Participants who could join us on our campus engaged in a collaborative and inspiring offline setting, while those unable to be present physically were seamlessly connected through Google Meet. This setup allowed all participants to effectively discuss and tackle the challenging problems with their team members, fostering a sense of teamwork and shared learning. Our student branch members demonstrated exceptional dedication and technical prowess as they enthusiastically participated in the competition. They tackled numerous intricate problems, showcasing their problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
The event’s success can be attributed to the meticulous planning and execution by our organizing team, the unwavering support from our institution, and the sheer determination of the participants. IEEE Xtreme 17.0 at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering was a testament to the institution’s commitment to promoting excellence in technology and education.
