The IEEE Student Branch Chapter (SBC60101) of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering organized community service activities for III Year students from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering on 20th July 2024. Students from ‘A’ Section visited DMI Home in Ottandhangal, where they provided educational support, performed minor electrical maintenance, and conducted interactive sessions with the children. ‘B’ Section students visited Annai Bharatha Madha Educational Trust in Redhills, organizing skill development workshops, electrical safety awareness sessions, and assisting in infrastructure improvements. ‘C’ Section students visited Sastha Charitable Trust in Kundrathur, conducting health and hygiene campaigns, renewable energy demonstrations, and recreational activities. These initiatives aimed to foster social responsibility, enhance practical skills, and promote teamwork among students while positively impacting the local communities.
