ABOUT US

 

At St.Joseph’s College of Engineering, the IEEE Student Branch was officially approved and inaugurated in the year 2002 with a grand induction program. From 2002 to 2014 the Student Branch chapter had organized and participated in various events. In the year 2014, 14 technical societies and 2 affinity groups were started. Since then, the student branch started conducting multiple events under the various societies and affinity groups, such as Workshops, Guest Lectures, Industrial Visits, NGO Visits, Technical and Non-Technical events. As of now, The student branch has around 80 student members among various societies.

IEEE SB OF SJCE under RAS organizes a 1-day event namely I-ROBOTIKA season 2- A National level project expo on 23rd February. I-Robotika season2 incorporates a wide range of activities centered on education, passion and progress in all of events organized. The event begins with an opening ceremony and many fascinating events including a webinar with a foreign speaker. The winners will be awarded with cash prize ranging 12,000 Rs and some alluring gifts.
